It’s National Margarita Day on Friday, February 22, and the hospitality industry all over the world is buzzing with lots of activities. Margarita is a very popular cocktail and is celebrated by millions of people who like the tequila-based drink.
Bars and restaurants are offering various Margarita treats to guests on that day. It ranges from special discounts on Margaritas bought, to making available lots of variations for guests to sample. Margarita Contest by Patron
On Thursday, February 21, 12 local bartenders in Atlantic City will gather at the Chelsea Tower at Tropicana to create and showcase their version of the best margarita mix. They will be competing for the Fan Favorite and Margarita Challenge titles. The contest is in honour of the National Margarita Day, and guests will be able to sample each of the margaritas made by the contestants and vote for their favourite.
The event is sponsored by The Patron and holds at The Chelsea Ballroom in Atlantic City, USA.
National Margarita Day Run
JackRabbit, an American based sporting goods store is partnering with Asics, Japanese multinational corporation which produces footwear and sports equipment, to host the National Margarita Day Run.
The run will begin from the JackRabbit store at Columbus Circle, New York, and guests will be treated to some rounds of margaritas. It’s expected to be a night of margaritas and fun.
Callie’s Taqueria & Tequila Bar located at 547 Lenox Avenue, New York will play host to the Margarita Madness by The Alumni Group. It’s an after-work event and guests will be treated to happy hour food and drink specials all night.
In celebration of National Margarita Day, La Tequilería, a premium tequila lounge located at Melrose Park, Illinois will be hosting a Margarita Class. Guests will learn to make the traditional margarita, and a couple of La Tequilería’s special editions, while drinking their own creation.
