French 75

Chowhound

Ingredients:

  • 1 cube brown or white sugar, or 1/2 teaspoon light brown or granulated sugar
  • 2 dashes orange bitters
  • 1 ounce Cognac or other brandy (or gin)
  • 1 lemon wedge
  • 3 to 4 ounces Champagne or other sparkling wine, chilled
  • 1 orange twist, for garnishing

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 ounces Fernet Branca
  • 1 1/2 ounces Campari

Dark ‘N’ Stormy

2 parts ginger beer (whatever kind you like)

  • 2 oz White rum (Try it with Bacardí Superior)
  • 3⁄4 oz Key lime juice
  • 1⁄2 oz Grapefruit juice
  • 1⁄2 oz Maraschino liqueur
  • 2 tbsp Simple syrup

Garnish: whole Lime wheel.
