In our previous post, we talked about making the hibiscus simple syrup and using it for cocktails. Here is a twist to the Mojito cocktail, using the syrup.
- 2 oz white rum
- 1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1 oz hibiscus syrup
- 8 to 10 mint leaves
- Soda water to taste
Add the rum, lime juice, hibiscus syrup, and mint leaves into a tall glass. Muddle a bit, then fill the glass with ice. Next, top up with soda. Use a bar spoon to stir the drink and serve.
